Seminyak is Bali's upscale coastal hub, known for high-end restaurants, stylish beach clubs, and boutique shopping. It sits just north of Kuta and south of Canggu, offering a more polished experience than either. The beach is wide and the sunsets are spectacular.
Vibe
Sophisticated and social. Seminyak draws a slightly older, more affluent crowd than Canggu. It is polished without being pretentious. Expect designer boutiques alongside local art shops, and fine dining next to beach-side warungs.
Best For
Couples, foodies, shoppers, and those who want nightlife with a more refined edge. Also popular with families staying in private villas. Good for short to medium stays where you want everything within reach.

Monthly rentals range from 20-35M IDR (~$1,300-2,250). Seminyak is one of the more expensive areas in Bali. Restaurant meals average 80-200K IDR, and beach club day beds can run 500K-1M+ IDR.
Top Spots
Potato Head Beach Club, La Lucciola restaurant, Ku De Ta for sunset cocktails, and Jl. Kayu Aya (Eat Street) for dining. The beach between Double Six and Petitenget is excellent for sunset walks. Seminyak Square for shopping.
Getting Around
Seminyak is relatively compact and some areas are walkable, though a motorbike makes life easier. Traffic is heavy, especially around Jl. Raya Seminyak and Jl. Kayu Aya during evenings. Grab and GoJek work well here.
