Sira Village Opens: Bali's New Waterfront Shopping Destination
Sira Village, a major new open-air outlet and lifestyle hub, has launched in Bali with over 100 premium brands and waterfront dining experiences. Developed by Mitsubishi Estate and Kura Kura Bali, the destination blends retail, culture and seaside leisure just 20 minutes from the airport.
Bali's retail landscape has transformed with the opening of Sira Village, a groundbreaking waterfront shopping and lifestyle destination. Located within the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone and developed through a partnership between Mitsubishi Estate and Kura Kura Bali, this open-air venue marks a significant evolution in how visitors and residents experience shopping on the island. Positioned just 20 minutes from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport via the Bali Mandara Toll Road, Sira Village offers exceptional accessibility for both tourists and locals.
The venue brings together more than 100 premium fashion and lifestyle brands under one waterfront location. International names including Marc Jacobs, Coach, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Puma and Nike share space with carefully curated retail partners. The opening also introduces several significant firsts for Bali: Kinokuniya operates its maiden store on the island, while American fashion brand Hazelwood makes its Indonesian debut at this destination.
Beyond international retail, Sira Village celebrates local creativity and craftsmanship. The Alun-Alun Indonesia pavilion showcases homegrown labels and Bali-based creative brands, ensuring that traditional Indonesian artistry remains central to the shopping experience. This balance between global and local retail creates a uniquely Balinese shopping environment.
The destination extends well beyond traditional outlet shopping. A sunset promenade along the waterfront offers panoramic ocean views with Garuda Wisnu Kencana visible in the distance, creating an ideal setting for evening strolls. ISOLA, a Mediterranean-inspired Italian dining and lifestyle concept complete with a rooftop pool, represents the caliber of food and beverage offerings available throughout the venue.
Cultural programming anchors Sira Village's connection to Bali's heritage. Traditional Balinese performances, interactive art activations and community-led events occur regularly, transforming the venue into a cultural gathering space rather than purely a commercial destination. This approach reflects the developers' commitment to creating experiences that honor the island's identity.
According to Tuti Hadiputranto, President Director of Kura Kura Bali, the project represents a broader vision for Bali's future. The destination demonstrates how global lifestyle experiences can coexist naturally with Bali's cultural values. Rather than simply introducing retail options, Sira Village establishes a new standard for waterfront living and leisure experiences on the island.
For travelers seeking premium shopping combined with authentic Balinese culture, dining excellence and waterfront relaxation, Sira Village offers a comprehensive alternative to traditional mall experiences. The venue's convenient airport proximity and diverse offerings position it as a major addition to Bali's tourism and lifestyle infrastructure.
