
Fire at W Bali Seminyak Unveils Bold New Culinary Concept
Fire restaurant at W Bali Seminyak has launched a reimagined dining concept built around wood, fire, and ash. A new chef collaboration delivers elevated comfort food, a fresh menu, and a curated Wine Wall.
Fire, the celebrated restaurant at W Bali Seminyak, has entered a sizzling new chapter with a completely revamped dining concept. Shaped by the elemental power of wood, fire, and ash, the modern grill invites guests in Seminyak on a transformative culinary journey that puts one of cooking's most primal elements front and center.
The renewed approach turns high quality ingredients into elevated comfort food, drawing out depth, texture, and character that only open flame can achieve. The concept celebrates transformation at every stage, from raw ingredient to finished plate, and from a single meal into a lasting memory for diners visiting this corner of Bali.
The reimagined direction is the result of a collaboration between Senior Sous Chef I Made Sember and Executive Sous Chef Jules Winckler. Chef I Made Sember, who has been part of the resort's culinary team since its pre-opening days, brings deeply rooted local passion, while Chef Jules contributes refined yet bold global techniques honed through international experience.
Together, the two have created an entirely new menu that showcases transformation through carefully layered flavours and techniques. Highlights include The Butcher's Block, a curated selection of premium cuts cooked over an open flame, and Reef Fish Crudo with yuzu, smoked creme fraiche, and seaweed crackers. Diners can also enjoy an Heirloom Tomato Salad with green goddess dressing, chilled tomato consomme, and basil.
For mains, the Dry-Aged Duck features crispy duck breast, potted leg confit, and sauteed kale. Dessert lovers can finish with a Dark Chocolate Souffle served alongside spiced chocolate, sorbet, and cocoa nibs, or the Charred Lime Pie completed with lime gel and Swiss meringue.
Complementing the evolution is a sleek new Wine Wall, presenting a carefully curated collection of limited-release wines. Each bottle has been handpicked to pair seamlessly with the smoky notes that define the new menu.
